Oxygenium was born from tragedy and determination. Founded by an emergency physician who watched trauma patients die during critical field procedures. Where explosive oxygen cylinders are banned and concentrators fail in critical moments.

Oxygenium’s mission is to deliver oxygen where existing systems cannot. We've developed a revolutionary oxygen delivery system that combines the safety of portable concentrators with the high-flow efficacy of compressed oxygen tanks.

In Loving Memory of Ben Alkahe

Ben began his post-military career in Israel’s elite counter-terrorism unit, YAMAM. In 1993, he took leave to study medicine at Ben Gurion University, specializing in trauma surgery, and later earned a Ph.D. in Neurophysiology. In 2006, he completed a post-doctorate in molecular biology at the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot, where he also served as YAMAM’s unit physician and Combat Trauma Physician for the IDF, reaching the rank of Captain.

While serving as a combat surgeon during the Second Lebanon War, Ben witnessed preventable battlefield deaths caused by oxygen shortages. After similar experiences in later operations, he partnered with Ran Miron to found Oxygenium, developing a new way to bring safe, portable medical oxygen to combat zones.

Dr. Alkahe passed away in September 2024 and is survived by his daughter, Taminah.
